Officials with a Nashville church have been ordered to appear in court again.

The Tennessee Department of Human Services said the Priest Lake Bible Camp in Antioch is a daycare that’s operating illegally and has refused to comply with the law. Deputies arrived at the church around 4 p.m. and delivered contempt of court papers. They’re civil charges. The papers were delivered following a state inspection Monday. The inspection found that the Priest Lake Bible Camp was caring for more than five children for longer than three hours, which requires a license from the state. The deputies delivered the papers to the daycare’s owner, Harold Frelix. Frelix was cited in May for the same offense ignored the order. The new order requires Frelix to appear in court on Sept. 7. Frelix said he intends to appear in court but won’t close the daycare until a judge orders him to.
